Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of attending the 1zu12 Miniature Fair in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany—and what an unforgettable experience it was!
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by an incredibly warm and enthusiastic community of miniature enthusiasts. The fair was bustling with creativity, passion, and an inspiring love for detail. It’s always exciting to see so many talented artists and dedicated collectors gathered in one place, but this time, the atmosphere felt especially vibrant.
I had the chance to meet some truly amazing people—fellow creators, long-time collectors, and even a few new faces who quickly became friends. Many of my wonderful clients stopped by to say hello, and it was so rewarding to finally meet in person after months (or even years!) of online communication. Hearing their stories and seeing their excitement reminded me why I love being part of this community.
The fair itself was beautifully organized, filled with exquisite displays, one-of-a-kind pieces, and endless inspiration at every corner. The level of craftsmanship was breathtaking. Whether it was tiny furniture, delicate textiles, or intricate dollhouse accessories, every booth told its own story.
But what made this event truly special was the atmosphere—so full of joy, connection, and shared passion. It wasn’t just a market; it was a celebration of creativity in miniature form.
I returned home tired but full of inspiration, new ideas, and warm memories. I’m already looking forward to the next fair and the chance to reconnect with everyone again.
To everyone I met—thank you for the conversations, the laughter, and the support. See you next time!
